July is Pet Identification Month

HomeAgain Microchip- Pet Recovery Network

If your pet got lost, could you...within an hour:

  • Compile a list all the shelters and veterinary practices in your area?
  • Confirm the identity of the pet over the phone-even if the tags are lost?
  • Easily create a "lost pet" poster with your pet's photo and distribute to local shelters and veterinary practices?
  • Do all this while on an "away-from-home" location?

ONE single phone call can do all this and more!

Veterinary Services has teamed up with HomeAgain Microchip Pet Recovery Network

Don't rely on tags or collars

for they can easily be lost or removed!

At least 10 million pets get lost every year.

Without ID, 90% don't return home.

If your HomeAgain Microchipped Pet were to become lost, you call in a Lost Pet Report.  Within minutes of your call a "Lost Pet Alert" is distributed to all local shelters and veterinarians (including our clinic) within a 25-mile radius from where your pet was last seen. The Alert includes your pet's id tag number as well as your pet's photo.  You are provided with a list of all the local shelters in the area so you can begin looking for your pet.  Via your website account you can immediately create a "Lost Pet Poster" and begin to distribute. Once your pet is found, you will be contacted immediately so you may be reunited with your pet!

HomeAgain has reunited almost 500,000 pets with their owners!

In addition to the Lost Pet Alert Program, enrollment to HomeAgain will give you one-year access to: 24/7 Emergency Medical Care Hotline by ASPCA licensed veterinarians, a Pet ID Card -with all your pet's information, PLUS Lost Pet Medical Insurance.  This policy covers any medical bills up to $3,000 (less $50 deductible) for any injuries your pet suffers while lost.

If your pet is already microchipped by another company, you simply call HomeAgain and provide your pet's information.  A $14.99 (per year) enrollment fee will immediately allow you to benefit from this great program.

Please be advised that if your pet is one of the over 900 already microchipped by our former network (Avid) the information will remain in our data base and remain active.
